“I came to SUNY Ulster to be in the Vet Tech program. I just have such a love for animals. When I was younger – I was about three – my family had a pit bull, and she actually saved our lives. Everyone in the house was asleep when, out of nowhere, the dog started barking like crazy. My mom made her go back to sleep; but come to find out, we had a carbon monoxide leak in the house, and because of our dog, everyone was able to get out safely. So, that’s kind of where my love for animals came from.”
